Individual Therapy
Dr. Spektor works to develop a safe, trusting, and collaborative working relationship with clients. Please see her approach to therapy to learn more, and contact her to schedule a consultation.
Group Therapy
Dr. Spektor has led groups on grief and loss, cultural identity, interpersonal process, mood regulation, and eating concerns. She is not running groups at this time, but please check back often for updated offerings.
Evaluations
Dr. Spektor performs psychological evaluations for immigration purposes, including asylum, VAWA, and extreme hardship cases. Each assessment includes an in-depth interview with the client and administration of psychological measures to gain information relevant to the immigration case and the client’s psychological functioning. Dr. Spektor prepares a report based on the assessment and is happy to collaborate with attorneys or other parties as needed. Please contact her to inquire about fees and scheduling.
Supervision and Consultation
Dr. Spektor is passionate about the supervision and training of mental health professionals and has conducted empirical research on supervision. Her doctoral dissertation is titled Trainee Factors Predicting the Perceived Quality of the Supervisory Working Alliance.
